This class is a team-taught, galactic adventure that will teach our 4th grade students what it means to serve. We are looking forward to working with our young padawans to teach about and perform Random Acts of Kindness, to become responsible citizens in our community by serving those in need, and to learn how to work with others to become future leaders and humanitarians.
Master Jedi Jennie Harding (Special Education) and Master Jedi Mary Beth Headman (4th grade Teacher) |
InstructionEvery Monday and Tuesday morning, we (Mrs. Headman & Mrs. Harding) will be working together to teach the ways of a Jedi. The students first were taught the Jedi Principals and how those principals can be carried out throughout their daily lives.

ActivitiesWe grouped the students in Kindness Circles of 5. Each group had 5 students. The students passed a Star Wars bean bag around for 3 different rounds. Each student had to say something kind to another student, something kind about themselves and something that they are grateful for.
