All About Miss Karen
Hi! My name is Karen Ellison. The students at Whiteford Elementary call me Miss Karen.
I moved into Sylvania in the year 2000. At that time, my three sons, Kenneth, Jr., Thomas, & Joseph were 10, 9, & 5 and starting at Hillview Elementary. Now my boys are 25, 24, & 20. Time certainly has flown by and all my boys have grown and moved out on their own. Now, I am anxiously awaiting my first grandchild due in mid October.
I started working in the Sylvania school system in 2002. My first year as a Special Education Paraprofessional was at Whiteford Elementary School in 2004. For the past 11 years I have truly enjoyed working with all the children and watching their progression through the years.
This has been a very important and very rewarding part of my life.
