I am currently the Moderate to Intense Intervention Teacher at Whiteford Elementary. I have been teaching for 18 years, 15 years of which have been in Sylvania Schools. I have a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Special Education. I currently live in Maumee, Ohio with my husband, 2 children, and our family dog. My children attend Anthony Wayne Schools. Colin is in 9th grade and Ellie is in 7th grade. Our dog is a red Doberman Pincher named Reece. I am also an active member of a support group for parents of children with Sensory Processing Disorder. I am also a published author of a book about my daughter's struggles with Sensory Processing Disorder as a toddler. It's called Ellie Bean the Drama Queen.
I am also a self-proclaimed geek. I have a deep love for science fiction movies such as Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy, movies based on comic books such as Marvel and DC Comics, and TV shows and books about paranormal situations and urban legends. Finally, I. Love. My. Job! |
